Some people are offended that others would even mention God, let alone Jesus. I hope you will find what is written here helpful to you. Please keep reading.
What matters most in life??? Is it success, good health, being happy, a solid family, etc....? It's not really "what" matters most, but WHO. I submit to you that the most important Person in all of history is the Lord Jesus Christ and what matters most is how you relate to Him-Meaning do you trust and know the Son of God as YOUR savior?
Some or most of you are probably wondering what does Jesus have to do with precious metals. My answer is EVERYTHING!!! I believe in the inerrant truth of the Bible-God's word to humanity-and God the Father declares through His written word that by Him (Jesus Christ-God's Son), all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. This passage set in bold is a reference from the Bible in Paul's letter to the Colossians, Chapter 1 verses 16-18. I would recommend reading the entire chapter to get the full context of what is being said. What's the point? Jesus Christ, God's Son, is the Creator of all things. Everything belongs to Him. Please notice the last word in bold-preeminence. In our day this is like saying, "It's all about Him." According to God's word all of human history on planet earth will culminate in the Lord Jesus Christ seated on His throne and ruling upon earth for 1,000 years.
The most important question every single person must answer is: Who is Jesus??? Was He just a good man Who told good stories? Was He just a martyr that gave His life for a worthless cause? Who is Jesus? Many have turned this question into a subjective experience but what I'm talking about is exploring the claims of the Bible and making a decision based upon that. I can tell you personally what Christ has done for me and what He means to me but that would be relating a subjective experience and though it is valid I submit to you that what will make a difference is not my experience but whether or not the claims of Christ are true. Please take the time to read the Bible and find out for yourself Who Jesus Christ is. If you read the segment on my website "About Hough Precious Metals" you will notice that I said people are more important than money and I mean it. I understand that some won't do business with me since I mention the Bible, Jesus Christ, or God, and I understand that.
I will probably revise this section or maybe just add more in the future but I want to leave you with the most important message in the Bible. We don't have to look very far to see trouble and sorrow all around. It's in our workplace, homes, and if we were honest with ourselves it even resides in our own hearts. There is not one single person reading this that hasn't been affected by tragedy and pain to some degree. Why is there sorrow in the world? Why do people do some of the horrible things they do? Why is there death? Most don't have an answer to these questions but God's word does. Sin has infected the human race. There is not one person who hasn't been affected by the curse of sin. The greatest evidence of this is that all die. Sin is disobedience to the God with Whom every person will answer to. We are sinners by nature and by choice and the penalty is death. I know that many don't like to hear this but it is true. We are all born into a state of spiritual death because of sin and the evidence of this is physical death. The good news is that there is a remedy for our condition. The Bible declares that God the Father so loved this world (The world meaning the people in it and that means YOU), that He gave His only Begotten Son to pay the penalty for our sins by becoming our sacrifice upon the cross. He died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. Jesus Christ wasn't a martyr, He is God's gift to a sinful, broken, needy, hurting world and if you will look to Christ and trust in the work that He did for YOU upon the cross you will have forgiveness of sins and everlasting life. We are all going to live forever and God made a way for you to be delivered from your sins and have fellowship with Him forever. To know Him is goodness, true life, and peace. May you trust in The Lord Jesus Christ, God's Son, as the only Savior from sin. He is coming again to reign and I pray that you will be one of those who will reign with Him.
